Before the excavators arrive, the plot must be clear – and the trees that stay must be protected. We plan the clearing around your construction schedule and the conditions of your building permit.

Services for builders and developers

  • Clearing & brush removal

    We fully remove trees, shrubs and hedges on the construction site – including haul-away.

  • Root stocks

    Stumps are ground or fully extracted, depending on what your groundworks require.

  • Tree protection to DIN 18920

    Protective fencing, trunk guards and root protection for retained trees during construction.

  • Tree survey

    We record species, girth and condition of the trees as a basis for planning and the building application.

  • Species protection

    Checks for nests and roosts before clearing, coordinated with ecological site supervision.

  • Scheduling

    Clearing is only possible from October to February. We schedule your project early enough.

Early planning saves months

If you want to build in spring, you have to clear in winter. Miss the window by the end of February and construction can easily slip by six months.

That is why we coordinate early with the architect, site manager and authorities: which trees may go, which stay, and which replacement plantings are required?

Clarify the existing trees before you submit the building application. Protected trees and replacement planting affect the design – and are hard to change later.

Frequently asked questions

How long does site clearing take?

A typical single-family plot is usually cleared in one to two days. Larger, densely overgrown areas are planned individually.

What about trees that should stay?

We protect them to DIN 18920 with fixed fencing around the root zone, trunk guards and, where needed, a root curtain, so they survive the construction period.

Do I need a permit for clearing?

Often yes – either through the building permit or separately under the tree protection bylaw. We review the documents and conditions with you.
